Just went through Opinion Foundation's OPN tokenomics breakdown and honestly the airdrop structure caught my eye. They're dropping 235 million tokens - that's 23.5% of the total 1 billion supply - with only 3.5% hitting at TGE and the rest vesting over 7 months. Smart move to avoid instant dump pressure I guess.

The allocation is pretty interesting overall. Investors and team both locked for a year then vesting linearly over 24 months, which at least shows they're thinking long-term. Foundation's sitting on 120 million tokens (12%), marketing gets 89 million (8.9%), and ecosystem incentives are 111 million. The liquidity portion is tiny at just 2% which seems lean but makes sense if they're planning multiple chain deployments - Ethereum and BNB Chain according to their announcement.

What's useful is OPN actually does something - access to premium oracle data, ecosystem fee payments, governance participation. Not just another governance token. They're targeting Q1 2026 for TGE with ecosystem growth as the main focus in Q2. Current circulating supply is sitting around 142 million based on latest data, so we're still early in the vesting cycle. Curious to see how the price holds once more OPN tokens unlock over the coming months.
OPN-8.27%
ETH-3.51%
BNB-2.05%
