I just saw that Vitalik Buterin released a pretty interesting roadmap. Basically, the co-founder of Ethereum is proposing a four-year plan focused on decoupling slots and finality on the network.
What caught my attention is how he explained it: "The goal is to decouple slots and finality so we can reason about both separately." It sounds technical, but it actually makes sense. This would allow Ethereum to be faster and, at the same time, more resistant to potential quantum computing threats.
Vitalik Buterin has always been quite visionary on these topics. The idea of separating these components is a strategic move to enable the network to evolve more flexibly. If this is achieved as planned, we could see significant improvements in scalability and security.
On the market side, ETH is at $2.32K with a -0.66% change in the last 24 hours. Nothing extraordinary in terms of volatility, but these technical movements driven by Vitalik Buterin are what really matter in the long run. If you're interested in closely following these developments, Gate offers good tools to monitor ETH's movement and understand how these changes are reflected in the price.
