Just looked at the liquidation figures from the past 24 hours, and it's quite chaotic in the market. According to CoinGlass, we're talking about a total of 826 million dollars, which is already huge. What struck me is that short positions took a big hit with 661 million liquidated, while longs only lost 166 million.

BTC and ETH were logically the most affected - at 375 and 184 million dollars respectively. Nearly 200k traders liquidated in one day, showing the scale of the movement. By the way, CoinGlass recorded a record liquidation of about 15.75 million on the BTC-USD pair on a derivatives platform. That's the kind of figure that reminds us why risk management remains crucial in this market.
BTC-2.19%
ETH-3.19%
