I just found out that Foundation is shutting down permanently. It turns out that the sale to BlackDove didn't go through, and founder Kayvon Tehranian decided it's no longer worth trying to find a buyer. The Ethereum-based NFT platform will simply turn off its servers.

The ironic part is they were trying to sell the marketplace so someone else could keep it alive, but no one was interested. Tehranian wrote that the infrastructure has already been deactivated and they cannot turn it back on. In other words, the closure is final.

This is what happens with many NFT projects that fail to adapt. Foundation had its moment, but in the end, another NFT marketplace has fallen. Did you have assets there?
