These days, I see everyone worried about unlocking calendars, honestly still afraid of that sudden sell-off pressure. But what I fear more is the "channel mismatch" during cross-chain transfers. A single cross-chain transfer might seem like just moving tokens, but in reality, it relies on a series of trusted components: whether the source chain actually sent the message, whether the relay/validator group honestly forwarded it, whether the target chain contract accepted it as expected... Any slip-up could turn into a "misheard story." IBC, like an old-fashioned radio with fixed frequency bands, at least has clear rules, but bridges are often more like temporary wiring—if it makes a sound, that's enough. Anyway, before I do a cross-chain transfer now, I check the route more carefully and also calculate the Gas fee, just to feel more at ease.
