KelpDAO Recovers 73,700 ETH, Remaining Shortfall Approximately 89,500 ETH

On April 24, KelpDAO announced that since April 18, Kelp has been closely collaborating with Aave and ecological partners to coordinate the recovery of funds for rsETH holders, and has released current progress and future plans. Ether.fi, Ethena, Lido, Golem, Mantle, LayerZero, and others have committed to provide support within their capabilities, with more announcements to follow. The initial shortfall of this incident was 163,200 ETH. Currently, Kelp has recovered 40,300 rsETH (approximately 43,000 ETH), and the Arbitrum Security Council has secured an additional 30,700 ETH. After these recoveries, the remaining shortfall is approximately 89,500 ETH. Of this remaining shortfall, public commitments from Mantle, Stani, EtherFi, Lido, Golem, and others total about 43,500 ETH. Kelp stated that it is further communicating with relevant parties to finalize specific funding arrangements. rsETH holders remain the top priority, and updates on further commitments and progress will continue.
