I’ve been lurking for a while, but I still want to add one more thing: contract approvals with unlimited allowances are really as important as sleep—if you don’t revoke them, there’ll always be a thorn in your mind. Put simply, I also love jumping into new protocols. Once the network changes and you switch to another chain, your wallet is left hanging onto a bunch of “spend anytime” permissions. And the day something goes wrong with the project / the front end gets hijacked, you won’t even have time to react.

Recently, Meme and celebrity signal trading calls are cycling back again. Newcomers are especially likely to get fired up, click to authorize, and chase the hype—only to find that what’s getting handed over at the finish line isn’t the price, but the permissions. My clumsy method is: revoke after you use them. If you can set limits, set limits. Before bed, just take a quick look at the approval list—so you don’t wake up in the middle of the night and find everything cleared out, thinking it was only a nightmare… Anyway, don’t mind the trouble.
