CryptoWorld News reports that the European Union has issued instructions to Google's parent company Alphabet, requiring it to open up the Android operating system so that AI services capable of competing with Google services can be integrated. This is the EU's latest move against the market monopoly behavior of this search giant. The European Commission stated on Monday that Google should ensure that competitive AI services can "effectively interact" with applications on Android devices. The commission pointed out that these services should be able to perform various tasks, such as sending emails using the user's preferred email app, placing orders through food delivery apps, or sharing photos with friends.
