France Records 135 Crypto Kidnapping Cases Since 2023
French police and prosecutors have recorded 135 crypto-related kidnapping cases since 2023, including 47 identified so far this year. Pnaco said 75 suspects are in pre-trial detention after attempts to kidnap crypto owners or their families and demand digital assets for their release.
