Palo Alto Networks (PANW, Financials) lifted its full year fiscal 2026 outlook after posting stronger than expected second-quarter results, citing accelerating demand for AI-driven cybersecurity and identity protection.
Revenue is now expected to be between $11.28 billion and $11.31 billion in fiscal 2026. Next-generation security (NGS) expects $8.52 billion to $8.62 billion in yearly recurring income.
Annual revenue rose 15% to $2.59 billion in the fiscal second quarter. Recent purchases boosted NGS ARR 33% to $6.33 billion. Adjusted free cash flow was $502 million, and diluted non-GAAP EPS was $1.03.
Chief Executive Nikesh Arora said major organizations are incorporating AI into fundamental operations, requiring real-time security controls across network, cloud, endpoint, and identity systems.
Strategic platform victories included $40 million and $50 million worldwide business deals. SASE ARR rose 40% to $1.5 billion, while software firewall ARR rose 25%. Prisma AIRS, the company’s AI security service, quadrupled customers during the quarter.
The recent CyberArk and Chronosphere acquisitions are reflected in guidance. Integration initiatives enhance identity security and observability while preserving operating discipline, management stated.
Palo Alto Networks predicts third-quarter sales of $2.94 billion to $2.95 billion and non-GAAP EPS of $0.78 to $0.80. The business aims to attain $20 billion in NGS ARR by 2030 and 40% free cash flow margin by fiscal 2028.
