Just saw the ZKsync airdrop numbers and honestly, it's kind of wild. Over 2.6 billion tokens claimed in the first ten hours after launch on June 17, 2024 - that's insane adoption. People were actually rushing to get their hands on ZK tokens worth around 630 million back then.

But here's the thing - the price took a beating. Started at 30 cents, dropped to 22.8 cents, and now it's sitting at like 2 cents according to latest data. Market cap is around 148 million currently. Not exactly the pump people were probably hoping for, right? Though I guess that's typical for airdrop events.

What's interesting is how people reacted. Some 37% of top recipients just dumped their entire allocation immediately, while about a third actually held everything. Totally different strategies. Some addresses offloaded millions of tokens, which probably contributed to that price crash.

The whole thing was supposed to be huge - 17.5% of total ZK supply going to early users and contributors. But the network got absolutely slammed. People were waiting like 20+ minutes just to claim their tokens because of congestion. A major exchange even had to suspend ZK withdrawals because of node issues.

Still, can't deny it was one of the biggest airdrops in history. If you're wondering how to get ZKsync airdrop tokens or missed out, the claim window ran until January 2025. The eligibility was based on activity on ZKsync Era before March 24, 2024. Pretty straightforward process - just connect your wallet, verify you're eligible, and claim.

Do you think ZK will recover from this initial dump, or are we looking at a longer consolidation period?
