Flare and Xaman integrate their systems, and this changes the game quite a bit for XRP holders. The news is that now you can access yield DeFi strategies with just one click, directly from the wallet.

What’s happening is that these two platforms are integrating in a way that greatly simplifies the experience. It used to be complicated: you had to perform multiple transactions across chains, manage multiple tokens, download new wallets. Now? One click on Xaman and done, you deposit XRP into a vault curated by Flare.

The infrastructure behind this is quite interesting. There are three layers working together: FAssets ( which are representations of XRP on DeFi networks like FXRP ), Flare Smart Accounts ( which abstract the complexity between chains but keep your authorization on the XRPL ), and Xaman itself ( your wallet ). All of this is integrated in a way that you don’t even notice the complexity.

Hugo Philion, CEO of Flare, commented that this integration positions the platform as the execution layer for XRPFi. Basically, they are building infrastructure that works for both regular users and institutional strategies. This is important because about 2 billion XRP that were outside the DeFi ecosystem due to technical barriers.

On the Xaman side, Wietse Wind ( founder ) highlighted that the goal has always been to provide simple and secure tools. Now users can explore new yield options while maintaining full control of their keys. That’s no small feat.

The first vault integrated with this new functionality is earnXRP, managed by Upshift. It facilitates FXRP minting, redemption, and automatic allocation while you keep your assets in the Xaman interface. The yields come in the background.

It’s clear that this opens up more possibilities for XRP liquidity. When you reduce technical friction like this, more people can participate. It’s a significant change in the ecosystem.
