Noticed an interesting movement in DeFi. It seems that Aave is expanding its ecosystem and starting to work with yield-bearing assets from Maple. This is quite a curious step for one of the leading lending protocols in the market.
Honestly, such integrations show how the space is evolving. Aave has long been a leader in the lending segment, and now they are clearly looking towards other opportunities and partnerships. Connecting yield-bearing assets could open new options for protocol users.
In general, recently, it’s been visible how the main DeFi protocols are becoming increasingly interconnected. This is either a sign of healthy ecosystem development or an indication that the market is seeking new ways to generate income. Perhaps both at the same time.
If you follow Aave and are interested in DeFi development, this is worth monitoring. Such moves often precede larger market movements.
