I just saw this on X and it left me stunned... apparently the private key of IoTeX was compromised and the attackers stole nearly $4.3 million. No joke, they emptied the entire token vault: USDC, USDT, IOTX, PAYG, WBTC, BUSD, everything. The most worrying part is that after stealing everything, they converted it to ETH and then moved 45 ETH to Bitcoin, as if they wanted to leave as little trace as possible. The attacker's addresses are public (0x6487...442f, 1PN2...oyYEc, 135o...G1Aw) but you know how this works. This is a brutal reminder of how important it is to protect that private key as if it were gold. A single mistake and it's game over. Does anyone know exactly what happened? Was it internal negligence or a sophisticated attack?
