Last night I almost woke myself up laughing: I wanted to try a new pool, and as soon as my wallet popped up, it asked me for "unlimited authorization," and I immediately imagined "giving the house keys to a stranger and saying come in anytime"... If I didn't understand it, I just didn't do anything, closed the page, and went to brush my teeth. Today, when I looked back with a clearer mind, revoking permissions is really as important as sleeping: you may not dream, but you have to lock the door. Especially now, with those on-chain data tools and tagging systems being criticized for being laggy or misleading, you think they are "security," but they might just be late-arriving messages. Anyway, my current process is fixed: try with a small amount + limited authorization first, revoke after use, to avoid waking up one day to find breakfast taken away.
