Techub News reports that Morpho co-founder Paul Frambot tweeted that over the past week, he has been in intensive contact with several major institutions to understand their views on the current DeFi situation. The main conclusions are as follows: institutional interest has not waned, primarily because distribution channels will not disappear. Huge AUM, payments, and loans are migrating on-chain, and each financial institution hopes to fully move onto the chain. As institutions, there is no other choice; nonetheless, both institutions and distributors have completely lost trust in pool/hub models. They want to maintain control, including over code, risk, and compliance, while being able to flexibly isolate necessary parts and connect to globally compatible liquidity networks.
