The social truths that the upper class is unwilling to reveal
1. Society only treats three types of people well: those with connections and backgrounds, top-tier elites with extraordinary talent and intelligence, and young beautiful women.
2. People who work all day cannot get rich; wealth is a compensation for cognition, not a reward for hard work.
3. Sixty yuan can make a man carry a bucket of water to deliver it to the sixth floor for you; six hundred yuan can make another's daughter flatter you; six thousand yuan can make young people who have studied hard for over ten years spend their lives on meaningless jobs.
4. The less capable people are, the more they like to learn social skills—how to treat others, how to toast at banquets, how to give cigarettes, whether to respect the elderly or the young, how to take the high road and not the low. These are all tasks for servants. Learning these, frankly, is just a trick for lower-class people to flatter the upper class.
This is definitely not the cognition of the upper class but human nature at work.
