Recently, London gold has been fluctuating at a high level between 4,668 and 4,710 USD, a pullback from the previous record high of 5,598 USD.

Market opinions are divided: expectations of a Federal Reserve rate cut have been lowered, a strong dollar and sticky inflation exert short-term pressure; but central bank continued gold purchases, geopolitical risks, and structural hedging demand provide medium- to long-term support.
There is significant disagreement on the year's target: Goldman Sachs sees it reaching 5,400 USD, while JPMorgan expects it could hit 6,300 USD by the end of the year.
