After the shutdown of AI evaluation company Gentrace, two co-founders joined Anthropic one after the other
According to Beating Monitoring, an AI evaluation and observability tools company Gentrace’s co-founder and CEO Doug Safreno announced his join at Anthropic on X. Gentrace helps companies test and monitor the quality of LLM outputs and previously raised $8 million in Series A funding led by Matrix (total funding of $14 million), which shut down at the end of last year.
Safreno said co-founder and CTO Vivek Nair had already joined Anthropic, and Nair, along with a friend at Anthropic named Yongxing Deng, convinced him to follow, citing Anthropic’s speed and values.
