Mid-April 2026, key statistics show that steel enterprises produced a total of 21.11 million tons of crude steel, with an average daily output of 2.11 million tons, a day-on-day increase of 0.4%; pig iron was 18.98 million tons, with an average daily output of 1.89 million tons, a day-on-day increase of 0.3%; steel products totaled 20.15 million tons, with an average daily output of 2.02M tons, a day-on-day increase of 3.1%. Based on this estimate, the national daily crude steel output for this period is 2.80 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 2.4%; pig iron production is 2.39 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 1.0%; steel product output is 4.15 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 1.7%.
