Shanghai Electric wins bid for the supply of equipment for the world's ultra-large-scale data center project

Recently, Shanghai Electric Power Transmission and Distribution Engineering Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid for the supply project of high and low voltage cabinets for the large-scale data center in Lahti, Finland, operated by global data center operator DayOne. This marks Shanghai Electric’s first large-scale entry into the high-end European market and a historic breakthrough in Nordic developed countries. The Lahti, Finland, large-scale data center park is a core project in DayOne’s European strategic layout and also the data center park of Wanguo Data in Finland. The project has now started construction and is expected to be operational by 2027, with a potential total capacity of 128 MW and the first server cluster capacity of 50 MW.
