The 34th National Book Trade Expo will open in Hangzhou in July
Reporters learned on the 23rd from the National Press and Publication Administration that the 34th National Book Fair will be held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang from July 24 to 27. This year’s book fair is themed “Fragrant Books in China, the Beauty of Reading,” focusing on promoting the Party’s innovative theories, advancing the construction of a book-loving society, and implementing the “Regulations on Promoting National Reading.” It will gather millions of high-quality books from publishing houses across the country.
It is introduced that this year’s book fair will feature special exhibitions, organize dialogues with famous authors, new book launches, parent-child reading activities, and creative exchanges, bringing a rich content, outstanding experience, and benefits for the people to readers. It aims to further foster a strong atmosphere of loving reading, reading good books, and reading well throughout society.
The main venue is set at the Hangzhou International Expo Center, with sub-venues in Ningbo, Jiaxing, and Liangzhu in Hangzhou, as well as an online sub-venue, forming an integrated online and offline book-loving event that welcomes and shares the joy of reading together. (Xinhua News Agency)
