The past couple of days, I forced myself to "pause" first, to stop getting itchy from checking profit screenshots. LST/re-staking, frankly, returns don't fall from the sky: either someone pays the cost of security/liquidity, or incentives are burning money to buy time. The small gains you get are mostly packaging a bunch of risks into "seems stable."

Risks are pretty straightforward: underlying staking can be penalized/confiscated/validators causing trouble, and re-staking on top adds another layer of contracts and rules. The most annoying part is that when liquidity tightens, prices can't stay anchored, and if you want to run, you have to queue. Recently, before and after the main chain upgrade, everyone guesses whether projects will migrate or not. I actually prefer to pause and watch: don't rush to chase hot topics, first think about whether your redemption window is blocked during migration/shutdown.

My current minimalist rule is still that set: don't chase, don't leverage, it's okay to earn less if you understand less; if you don't understand, stop.
