Jin10 Data April 27th: According to AXIOS, citing an American official and two informed sources, Iran has made a new proposal to the United States, suggesting to prioritize reaching an agreement on reopening the Strait of Hormuz and lifting maritime blockades, while postponing nuclear negotiations to a later time.
This new proposal aims to break the current deadlock in negotiations and bypass internal disagreements within Iran's leadership regarding the scope of nuclear concessions willing to be made to reach an agreement with the Trump administration.
According to three U.S. officials, President Trump is expected to hold a situation room meeting with his senior national security and foreign policy team on Iran on Monday.
One official stated that the meeting is expected to discuss the current deadlock in negotiations with Iran and possible next steps for the conflict.
