During the Qingming holiday, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Zhuhai Highway Port welcomed a peak in inbound passenger and vehicle flow.

This year’s Qingming holiday overlaps with the public holidays in Hong Kong and Macau. A large number of Hong Kong and Macau residents took advantage of the short break to “go north” to the mainland for family visits, ancestor worship, and spring-outing tourism. The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge Zhuhai highway port saw a peak in inbound passenger and vehicle flow. According to figures from the Zhuhai Border Inspection Station of the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge under the Zhuhai Border Inspection General Office, since April 3 and up to 4:00 PM on April 4, more than 192,000 people and over 32,000 vehicles entered and exited via the port. Among them, the number of inbound passengers and vehicles reached 140,000 and 23,000, respectively—2.6 times and 2.5 times the outbound figures. (Voice of the Greater Bay Area)
