Over the past couple of days, I’ve been watching NFT floor prices flip back and forth like crazy, and now my hands are itchy again… To be honest, it’s just fear of missing the excitement. I know full well the liquidity is only that limited, yet I still keep fantasizing that at the peak moment of the narrative, I’ll be able to sell my ticket to the next brave soul. Royalties are also pretty awkward—if you collect them, reselling gets even slower; if you don’t, the community starts talking about how “the faith has cooled.” In any case, lots of projects these days look like there are a ton of people, but really it’s just emotions propping them up. When things are hot, even your profile picture can act like a pass; when it’s cold, placing orders on the books looks like you’re talking to yourself.

By the way, I’ve got to vent: hardware wallets are sold out, and phishing links are everywhere. People’s security awareness has definitely improved… but the worst thing my kind of impulsive person fears isn’t losing money—it’s clicking the wrong link and getting wiped out. That’s way too funny in a hellish way. Just hold on—your hands being itchy is one thing, but don’t hand over your lifeline to an “airdrop sign-up” (registration) page.
