Those numbers only look contradictory if you’re measuring stablecoins the way we did during the trading cycle.
Back then, growth meant a larger float sitting onchain between trades.
Now, the same dollar is being recycled more frequently across payments, settlement, and capital movement.
A smaller float processing more value is a different stage of the market.
The better question isn’t how many stablecoins exist.

Many people have started to average down, but I still haven’t made a move.
Just now, I watched the chart again for a bit, and I found that quite a few people have already begun to think the drop here has been enough.
But my $SKHY short position is still being held—not because I want to gamble on how much further it can fall, but because the market hasn’t yet given me a reason to exit. I entered around 160.92, and the price has already come to the 136 area. From this whole stretch, every time I expect a rebound, the strength isn’t quite enough—the shorts’ rhythm hasn’t truly been interrupted.

Before this shorting move, I actually waited for quite some time. Around 0.05769, the price looked strong. Several pump attempts lured in quite a few people, but every time it spiked higher, it quickly dropped back. The buyers didn’t manage to carry their advantage forward—this kind of chart action made me increasingly wary.

At first, I didn’t rush to chase, because catching a falling knife directly at the high can easily get reverse pinned. Only after another fake breakout appeared did I confirm that this was more like digesting sell pressure rather than preparing to push higher. The short
