Before this shorting move, I actually waited for quite some time. Around 0.05769, the price looked strong. Several pump attempts lured in quite a few people, but every time it spiked higher, it quickly dropped back. The buyers didn’t manage to carry their advantage forward—this kind of chart action made me increasingly wary.

At first, I didn’t rush to chase, because catching a falling knife directly at the high can easily get reverse pinned. Only after another fake breakout appeared did I confirm that this was more like digesting sell pressure rather than preparing to push higher. The short positions were also slowly held in line with this pace.

When the price moved to around 0.0547, repeated heavy sell-offs finally validated my earlier judgment. The shorts broke through the buy-side support all the way. This time, the result came out at +366.52%. When the profit expands, it’s definitely exciting, but I didn’t start getting carried away just because things were going my way.

Many people lose by chasing only after they see the drop; others profit by recognizing the pressure in advance and still being willing to wait. For me, this wasn’t about how bold I was—it was about not getting fooled by the superficial strength, and patiently waiting until the market reveals its real direction on its own.
