Many people have started to average down, but I still haven’t made a move.
Just now, I watched the chart again for a bit, and I found that quite a few people have already begun to think the drop here has been enough.
But my $SKHY short position is still being held—not because I want to gamble on how much further it can fall, but because the market hasn’t yet given me a reason to exit. I entered around 160.92, and the price has already come to the 136 area. From this whole stretch, every time I expect a rebound, the strength isn’t quite enough—the shorts’ rhythm hasn’t truly been interrupted.
In fact, the hardest part of trading isn’t opening a position—it’s being able to hold it. A lot of profit gets closed off early by yourself, not taken by the market. So as long as the rhythm is still there, I’d rather let the market tell me when it’s time to leave than panic and leave on my own.
I’ve always believed that the market is there every day, but my exposure is always only one allocation. There’s no need to give up an advantage position I already have just to guess a rebound.
Of course, I’ll protect my profits too. If the chart starts to show clear changes, I won’t hesitate—I’ll leave when it’s time.
I’ll keep watching the market tonight and see how the main players plan to play it next.
