TRUMP is moving very quickly, so I’ll watch for a rebound before the next wave of declines. If sellers remain active, the price could fall to lower levels.

#美股存储板块跌幅扩大 Friday's session gave me a clear answer on how deep this storage selloff really is, so I rebuilt my sector notes from the numbers. Here is where I stand after the close on October 16.
The damage is big. Micron fell 5.63% on Friday and 14.6% on the week, while SanDisk dropped 6.85%, Western Digital about 7% and Seagate more than 7%, with the storage chip index down 17.6% on the week. SanDisk closed at $1,299.30, its seventh lower close between October 8 and October 16. Against its June high close of $2,335, that is about 44% lower by my math.
The bigger picture is even harsher. Six

$SOL is trading at 102.46 USDT, down 1.67% over 24 hours, but its 1-hour trading volume is only 0.21x. That figure looks a little weak: the price has moved, but volume has not clearly followed. The current price is already close to the 1-hour support at 101.25, while the 1-hour resistance at 104.79 still lies ahead.
I’m more inclined to view this as a tentative dip. The price has moved, but volume hasn’t followed, which suggests this move may quickly lose momentum. If volume picks up and support at 101.25 holds, this could be a good opportunity to watch.
But if the price fails to find enough s

Nothing much is happening today. Wen Uptober (Seriously? Wen?). Crypto F&G is stuck at 53, and is probably waiting on the weekly close.
Stocks were reset on Friday and are down to 71! Finally some breathing room to go up again.

#每周来晒 #美国9月PPI大超预期 The week after the double inflation beat: what the market actually did
Two hot inflation reports landed in two days, and the verdict is in. Stocks fell, bonds steadied, the Fed odds cooled and Bitcoin held its ground. Here is the final scorecard as of Sunday, October 18, followed by an if-then framework for next week.
What the data said
September CPI rose 3.7% against 3.6% expected, and producer prices rose 1.3% on the month and 6.3% on the year. The surprise sat in the details, since core PPI rose 0.7% against a 0.3% forecast.

Gold at $4,165—have you been driven crazy?
It hit a wall at $4,200 three times, 10-year Treasury yields are crushing it at 5.1%, and everyone online is shouting “the gold bull market is dead”—but the PBOC has been quietly buying for 23 months, and oil has surged to $110. Who do you think is lying?
First, the surface picture: trapped between two directions, grinding away until you question your sanity.
Spot gold is now at $4,165, after closing around $4,163 on Friday, down for the week. It’s up a slight 0.4% over 24 hours, but has already pulled back 23% from its early-year high of $5,400+. The

Justin Sun says he sold 80–90% of his ETH around $3,600–$4,000, after seeing what he described as a fragile double top. He kept his core BTC holdings, hadn’t bought back into ETH as of the interview, and shifted heavily into US stocks, expecting capital to flow there.
A sharp call on where the next wave of money might go.

$BTC is at 81,135.38 USDT, down 0.41% in 24 hours, while hourly trading participation is only 0.52x. This seems somewhat unusual, because the price has already moved, but volume has not clearly followed. The price is now close to the hourly support level at 80,819.66, while the hourly resistance level at 82,295.47 still lies ahead.
I’m more inclined to believe the current direction will continue to test support, since the price has moved but volume has not followed. However, if the price cannot find enough support near 80,819.66 for an extended period, this test is likely to fail and could eve

Machi's $4.3M 25x ETH long: the math behind the headline
The news is dramatic, but the useful part is the numbers. Here is what is reported, what the position implies, and what it teaches about leverage.
The timeline
On October 15, Machi Big Brother's Hyperliquid account was fully liquidated, falling from a $12.25 million peak to $21,800 after heavy Ethereum longs. Four ETH liquidations hit within about three minutes, ranging from 380 ETH at $2,379 to 800 ETH at $2,331. Then about 25 minutes later he opened a new 25x ETH long of 290 ETH with a liquidation price of $2,324.

US September PPI came in at 6.3% YoY, well above the 5.3% market expectation, pointing to renewed producer-side inflation pressure. Weekly jobless claims were 199K, broadly in line with forecasts. Could hotter inflation further reduce room for rate cuts, and what does it mean for $BTC, US stocks, and gold?
