Bitcoin has broken a historical pattern, but has it actually escaped the bearish cycle?
That is the question I find more interesting than simply celebrating BTC trading above its 200-day moving average.
On November 3, U.S. Midterm Election Day, Bitcoin traded around $76,990, approximately 5.2% above its 200-day moving average near $73,169. That is a meaningful difference from the 2014, 2018 and 2022 midterm elections, when BTC was trading below the same long-term trend indicator.

Bitcoin $BTC fell as low as 75,736 overnight, its wick piercing the 76,260 support level with 7 touches, then returned to 78,240 in the morning.
