Intraday levels to watch:
Resistance: $84,100–$84,350; a breakout could target around $84,800.

September CPI rose year-on-year from 3.4% to 3.7%, above the expected 3.6%.
Core CPI rose from 2.4% to 2.6%, also exceeding the expected 2.5%. Overall CPI rose 0.6% month-on-month, putting the inflation rebound squarely on the table.
This time, energy was the main culprit. Gasoline prices surged 9.1% in September alone, contributing more than half of the overall monthly CPI increase, while energy prices rose 20.4% y

Oil prices are to blame again?
U.S. CPI rose 3.7% year over year, above the market expectation of 3.6% and reaching a new high since May;
Core CPI rose to 2.6% year over year, a new high since June this year and above the market expectation of 2.5%.
After the data was released, gold and $BTC collectively plunged, while the market increased its bets on a Fed rate hike in October and three more Fed rate hikes before the end of 2027.
Fine, fine, so that’s how we’re playing it? I guess we’re just going to keep stabbing wicks back and forth.
