also took a few longs along the way but i’m out of all of them now
still holding my spot bag
i think Lighter is a strong beta play on hyperliquid, with solid bullish catalysts around US regulations and upcoming integrations
exited my longs because the short term open interest to price ratio looks a bit overextended
long term, their success will heavily depend on how well those integrations go and how much user growth/volume they can actually bring to the platform
all that said, holding $LIT without any $HYPE exposure is pure cope

perps are an amazing financial product and are still in their early stages
the entire perps industry is going to get huge over the coming years
this attracts tons of scammers and grifters
many teams simply raise money, build a perpDEX, raise money, run an incentive/points program, extract users by making them farm an airdrop that will never come, then shut down and disappear forever
but the few good, truly innovative ones will survive and see insane growth

update on my $SYN trade:
sold 95% of my position (avg. exit $0.56)
i took this trade because the onchain options narrative was really strong, especially with hypercall offering pre-IPO spaceX options
it was an easy buy at $7M FDV with their token being listed on and , plus their planned rebrand to focus on options settled on hyperliquid
didn’t expect it to run this hard tho, up 20x from my entry in just 2 weeks
the fundamentals aren’t there to support this kind of move at all
taking profits to rotate into $HYPE and $DRV, and i’ve set some stink bids to buy back in if they dump it back below $
