A cryptographer found a hidden fingerprint in Bitcoin’s earliest blocks that proves ONE person mined 1.1 MILLION BTC and never spent a single coin
That stash is worth over $115 BILLION today
In 2013 a researcher named Sergio Demian Lerner was studying the very first blocks ever mined on Bitcoin. He noticed something nobody else had spotted in 4 years
Every Bitcoin block contains a small data field called the ExtraNonce. It’s a number that gets incremented every time a miner generates a block. Different miners produce different ExtraNonce sequences
Lerner mapped the ExtraNonce values from the f

A 17 year old built crypto’s first margin exchange in 4 days, lost $11 BILLION worth of Bitcoin and disappeared
His name was Zhou Tong
In 2010 he was a 16 year old Chinese teenager in Singapore who bought his first Bitcoin for $10
By 2011 he had taught himself to code and decided every existing exchange sucked
So he built his own in FOUR DAYS
He called it Bitcoinica. It wasn’t just another exchange at the time… It was the first crypto margin trading platform in history
Users could bet up to 50 BTC instantly on the price of Bitcoin going up or down
Back then long, short or leverage never existe

Bitcoin had a feature in 2009 so dangerous Satoshi himself deleted it after one user pointed it out
In the original version of Bitcoin you could send coins directly to someone's IP address
There was no wallet address needed and even worse, your computer would connect to theirs to send the coins through
That meant anyone could see your IP, locate your machine and try to attack it just by sending you Bitcoin
On January 14, 2009 Satoshi decided to test it himself and emailed an early miner named Dustin Trammell asking for his IP
Trammell replied and actually sent it to him
A few minutes later Sat

An Estonian banker is sitting on $566 MILLION and can't move a single cent because he lost his password
In 2014 Rain Lõhmus, the founder of Estonian bank LHV, bought $75,000 in the Ethereum ICO and received 250,000 ETH at 30 cents per coin
He stored it in a presale wallet, locked it with a password and never touched it again
The wallet has been dormant ever since, holding even more ETH than Vitalik Buterin himself
In 2023 Coinbase exec Conor Grogan publicly tagged the address as Lõhmus's and asked the internet for help
Lõhmus went on Estonian radio days later and admitted it saying "it's no se

The total NFT market cap pumped 34% since March 31
Based on the current volume it would only take ~$10M of net sell pressure to completely erase this pump
This $1.9B market cap is a paper number and is built from massive multis on collections that don't trade at all
I could add another $100M to the total MCAP tomorrow by minting a 10,000 supply collection and doing a single $1000 wash trade to set the floor, that's all it takes
There is no realistic exit at these marks for anyone holding meaningful size
Still down 88% from the 2022 peak not to mention the volume which is down 97% from $6 BILLI

Pranksy paid $1.1 MILLION for a single Doodle in 2022 and dumped it three years later for only $61,000
In January 2022 Pranksy paid 296.69 ETH for Doodle #6914, which is the only Golden Ape in the collection
He bought it 40 minutes after it hit the market and set the all time record for any Doodles sale
In August 2025 he sold it for 34 ETH and posted: "love to say I've enjoyed every day we spent together, but it's been pretty dire since that day"
Pranksy used to hold over 70 Doodles worth $3.5 million combined, dumped most of them in the same week and said he was looking forward to a new chapt

The unluckiest CryptoPunk sale in history happened because of a single typo
In November 2021 the owner of CryptoPunk 7557, one of only 55 "Tiara" Punks ever made, tried to list it for 4,444 ETH which was about $19 million at the time
Instead he typed 4.444 ETH and the listing went live for $19,400 which is a 99% discount
A bot sniped it the same second, sent a 3.33 ETH bribe straight to a miner to make sure nobody else could front run it, bought the Punk in the same block and relisted it for 325 ETH a minute later
He sold a Punk worth $1.5 MILLION for the price of a used Toyota and the bot tur
