ME News report: May 18 (UTC+8). According to BIT analysis, Ethereum’s recent price performance is increasingly dominated by ETF capital flows. Over the past year, the 30-day moving average of daily net inflows into ETH ETFs has been highly synchronized with Ethereum’s price trend, indicating that Ethereum’s sensitivity to institutional funds has increased significantly. One of Ethereum’s core narratives is a net staking yield of approximately 2.5%. However, in an environment where inflation accelerates again and the US 10-year Treasury yield rises to above 4.6%, Ethereum’s staking yield advantage is weakening compared with risk-free assets such as US Treasuries. Since May, capital outflows have returned for Ethereum ETFs, consistent with the logic above. If this trend continues, Ethereum is likely to remain in a consolidation range. (Source: ChainCatcher)
