ME News, June 11 (UTC+8): Retired U.S. General Mark Kimmit said he believes President Trump’s public remarks may inadvertently shift the chips to Tehran. Kimmit said that Trump has shown impatience with negotiations, “every two or three days he announces two or three times, saying that we will reach an agreement in two or three days.” Kimmit said these remarks from President Trump “tell the Iranian people that he doesn’t have that kind of patience, and the Iranians are now taking advantage of it.” He added that Tehran is “provoking him—maybe not on the battlefield, but certainly at the negotiating table.” Regarding the way Trump responds, Kimmit said: “He is not responding at the negotiating table, but through military force.” (Jinshi) (Source: ODAILY)
