[Quantum Preparedness Plan]

The Stellar Development Foundation officially announced this "Quantum Preparedness Plan" in June 2026.

· Goal: Achieve quantum resistance through native protocol upgrades by the end of 2027.

· Advantage: No address changes, no asset transfers. Since account identity (G address) is separate from signing keys, only a new quantum-safe signer needs to be added for upgrades.

🗺️ Roadmap Details

· Phase One (2026): Enable post-quantum signatures (NIST standard ML-DSA-44/65) on the Soroban smart contract layer, allowing enterprise wallets to migrate first.

· Phase Two (2027): Through the "Core Advancement Proposal," enable all regular accounts to add native quantum-resistant signers while maintaining their original addresses.

· Phase Three (TBD): Gradually phase out the old Ed25519 signature mechanism.
Pi Network adopts the Stellar Consensus Protocol.

It is foreseeable and certain that the Pi Network team also has sufficient technical support and plans to complete their own quantum upgrade.

Currently, adopting and referencing the Stellar Consensus Protocol is the most wise choice and the most perfect design for Pi Network.
