EU Adopts 20th Russia Sanctions Package With Full Ban on Russian Crypto Providers
The EU approved its 20th sanctions package against Russia, including a full ban on transactions with Russian crypto service providers and platforms. The package is one of the bloc’s largest in two years. The measures also prohibit the use and support of the digital rouble and the RUBx stablecoin. Separately, the package imposes transaction bans on 20 Russian banks and additional entities.
