🚨 US Inflation Puts the Fed in a Difficult Position
Fresh US inflation data is creating another challenge for the Federal Reserve.
Headline CPI reportedly rose to 3.7%, while core CPI reached 2.6%. If inflation is accelerating while the labor market remains weak, policymakers face a difficult trade-off.
Hold rates: Inflation could remain elevated or rise further, delaying progress toward the Fed’s target.
Raise rates: Borrowing becomes more expensive, potentially putting additional pressure on hiring, businesses, and consumers.
That leaves policymakers with limited room for easy decisions. Cu

Here's something that'll blow your mind about long duration options.
I sold a 2 year put. Collected a huge premium up front.
4 months later, the market ran, the contract collapsed in value, & I closed it at 75% profit.
75% of the money... in 17% of the time of the contract.
Everyone thinks long duration means locked up for years. It doesn't.
It means a FAT premium up front to reinvest when the company is compelling & the option to close it whenever it makes sense.
Compare that to a weekly seller. 52 tiny "paychecks," selling puts when it's not compelling... forcing trades.
I made one decision.

There’s a term called “lower highs,” and it’s more useful than simply watching whether prices rise or fall
$USELESS Today is a textbook example:
0.18312 → 0.18100 → 0.17864
→ 0.17572 → 0.17079
Each level is lower than the previous candle: -1.16 -1.30 -1.63 -2.81
At 12:00, it surged to 0.18312 on 1.84x volume, then was slammed back down at 13:00
It never reclaimed 0.178 afterward; the current price is -8.73% from that candle
MA20 is at 0.17268, still 3.21% away—the trend hasn’t reversed
At the bottom, there were three lower wicks: 1.64% 2.16% 1.44%
But those were bottom-fisher

Many people instinctively chase after seeing a sharp one-day surge, but overlook a key preliminary question: Is this rally the start of a trend, or an emotional impulse? Breaking down $WAL through the moving-average system makes it clear. Currently, MA5=0.053164 is significantly above MA20=0.0453065, with the short-term moving average crossing above and the gap widening, indicating that the medium-term structure has indeed turned bullish; however, the price of 0.05124 is below MA5, meaning short-term momentum is being absorbed, and chasing the rally offers a poor risk-reward ratio. BTC 2,300 points, ETH 122 points—the direction was laid out long ago; you just didn’t scroll to me.
I’ve been watching shorts and trading shorts every day lately, yet some people are still chasing longs and getting trapped at the top? I honestly can’t understand it.
Yesterday’s publicly shared two-coin plan had been laid out clearly:
BTC 84,000-84,500: short at highs, with targets at 82,500-81,300-80,500-78,800, stepping down level by level;
ETH 2,535-2,560: short at highs, with targets at 2,480-2,430-2,400-2,350, heading south all the way.
How did the market move?

$W Current price: 0.01521, with key short-term support at 0.01515 (Bollinger lower band), and overhead resistance at 0.01562 (MA5) and 0.01641 (MA20).
Technically, the price has fallen below MA5 and MA20, with the moving averages in a bearish alignment. The 30-candlestick amplitude is 33.4%, indicating a high-volatility downward structure. However, two details are worth noting: RSI has fallen to 28.6, entering oversold territory; the MACD histogram is +2.734e-05 and remains bullish, indicating signs of weakening downside momentum and the possibility of an oversold rebound. Why are so many $IONQ bulls, yet nobody seems to pay attention to $QNT?
I'm in neither at the moment, but it stands out to me
$IONQ has SkyWater, which is very interesting, but when it comes to usability, Quantinuum is arguably the industry leader
I'm genuinely asking because I know some people here understand the industry much better than I do
Why $IONQ?

Many people see the Fear and Greed Index at 62 and shout “greed has peaked, blindly short,” which is a typical mistake of treating sentiment indicators as contrarian signals—greed can become even greedier; the key is whether the broader market structure and funding rate are aligned.
Currently, $NEAR is priced at 4.954, down 1.39% in 24h, with a trading volume of 175.6M USDT, indicating a low-volume pullback rather than panic selling. Technically: MA5=4.9936 has fallen below MA20=5.0503, with short-term moving averages weakening; RSI=40.2 is in the neutral-to-weak zone and has not yet entered
