This $AEON short position was based on resistance during a rebound, not on trying to call the bottom. When setting it up, I focused on the weakening trend structure: the rebound never broke above the previous high, and volume was also weak, so I leaned bearish rather than bullish. There were quite a few spikes while holding, but each time price was pushed back down, indicating that selling pressure remains.
