Can Micron hold this pullback to the 200-day moving average? $MU
Honestly, technical indicators alone don't mean much anymore. The entire memory sector is now facing a dual loosening of sentiment and positioning.
From the charts, the stock has fallen for several consecutive sessions and broken below multiple short-term moving averages, forming a bearish alignment. In the short term, the $720–$770 range is the bulls' last psychological line of defense. If panic selling continues, moving averages alone are unlikely to put on the brakes.
The gap between HBM expectations and reality is narrowing,

#美股财报季 #Gate股票畅聊季 $13.4 billion in revenue sets a record: Three truths about AMD’s AI computing race

After the market closed on November 3, 2026, AMD delivered an almost flawless quarterly report: revenue of $13.38B, up 45% year over year and above the top end of its guidance; data center revenue nearly doubled, and the stock briefly surged 9% after hours.
The numbers are impressive, but more worth unpacking are three things behind them: AMD is undergoing a structural transformation, earnings quality is improving, and its 2027 outlook makes the company’s ultimate destination crystal clear.

01 First, the numbers: It wasn’t just revenue that beat expectations
Revenue was $13.38B (about $13.4 billion), up 45% year over year and 16% quarter over quarter, exceeding the top end of its previous guidance range ($12.7 billion–$13.3 billion); GAAP net income was $2.43B, up 95% year over year; non-GAAP EPS was $2.09, above Wall Street expectations; GAAP gross margin was 54%, up 2 percentage points year over year.
For the fourth quarter, AMD guided to a midpoint of $17 billion in revenue, up 66% year over year and 27% quarter over quarter, also above market expectations. The substance of this report lies in the across-the-board strength of revenue, profit, gross margin, and guidance—not in one metric merely happening to beat.

02 Core engine: Data center revenue nearly doubles, rising to 64% of the total
The Data Center segment generated $8.55B in revenue, up 97% year over year and a record high, lifting its share of total revenue from 47% in the same period last year to 64%: more than $6 of every $10 the company earns comes from data centers. Growth came from simultaneous volume increases across two product lines: strong demand for EPYC server CPUs and record sales contributions from the Instinct MI450 series GPUs. More importantly, AMD has begun volume shipments of MI455X GPUs, and its Helios rack-scale solution is already running in the infrastructure of Anthropic, Meta, Microsoft, OpenAI, and Oracle, with deployments set to increase substantially in the fourth quarter. AMD is no longer merely an alternative to NVIDIA in the AI race; it has embedded itself with hyperscalers through system-level solutions.

03 Earnings quality: Growth isn’t being bought with lower prices
The biggest risk with rapid growth is rising revenue without rising profit. AMD addressed that concern with its numbers: the Data Center segment’s operating income was $2.88B, up 168% year over year, with an operating margin of 34%; the company’s overall non-GAAP operating margin rose from 24% to 29%. This means growth is coming from an improved product mix and economies of scale, not from sacrificing pricing to gain share. Lisa Su also expects the Data Center business to more than double in 2026.

04 The other side: PC headwinds and a strained supply chain
The Client and Gaming segment generated $3.72B in revenue, down 8% year over year, with gaming revenue plunging 40% to $773 million. Lisa Su forecast a double-digit decline in PC shipments in 2027: rising component prices are affecting system pricing across the board, making consumers more price-sensitive.
This is a structural issue: the ongoing growth in memory chip demand from AI data center construction is squeezing the traditional PC supply chain. But AMD views the PC downturn as a counterbalance to data center growth, with growth in data centers and embedded products sufficient to offset the decline in client CPUs. On the supply-chain front, Su explicitly said the company is ensuring supplies of key components, including wafers, substrates, advanced packaging, and memory. The subtext is that demand isn’t the problem; supply is the constraint.
Free cash flow fell to $550 million this quarter, down 64% year over year, and inventory increased by about $3 billion. The market gave this a pass, interpreting it as inventory build-up for growth during a capacity ramp, rather than deteriorating operations.

05 The 2027 signal: What is AMD becoming!
If the third-quarter report answers how things are now, the 2027 outlook answers what AMD is becoming: revenue growth of over 80%, more than double the growth rate expected at the end of last year; data centers accounting for over 80% of revenue; server CPU revenue doubling year over year; and data center AI revenue growing by more than 100%.
This is essentially AMD showing its hand to the market: it aims not only to keep gaining share in AI accelerators, but also to structurally displace Intel in server CPUs.
There’s another easily overlooked clue: agentic AI is driving demand for CPUs. Su said server CPUs are crucial for agentic applications, enabling virtual machines to run independently for hours, and that CPU adoption is only just beginning. This points to a dual-engine model: AI inference needs both the parallel computing power of GPUs and high-performance CPUs to orchestrate complex workflows.

When reading this report, rather than focusing on how much the stock rose after hours, remember three things.
First, to assess the health of an AI computing company, don’t look only at revenue; look at its share and margins: a 64% data center share and a 34% operating margin are what really make this beat significant.
Second, a structural transformation is underway: AMD is evolving from a CPU company into a data center company, and its 2027 guidance has made the destination clear.
Third, a strained supply chain—rising memory prices and demand exceeding supply—is a shared constraint across the industry right now. Whoever solves the supply problem first will have the upper hand in the next phase.

A more measured take is that AMD’s growth isn’t a single bet on GPUs; it is building a dual engine at the intersection of CPUs and GPUs. But this view depends on AI capital expenditure remaining strong and Helios ramping up as planned; the double-digit PC decline remains a variable to watch. #WCTCS9 $AMD

SK Hynix at 945 USDT: AI Memory Leader, Market Recovery and Trading Opportunities on Gate
The global semiconductor industry is entering an important phase, and SK Hynix remains one of the companies I am watching closely. Its advanced memory technology, strong financial performance, and important position in the AI supply chain make it an interesting opportunity for traders and long-term investors.

At the current reference price of 945 USDT on Gate, I believe SK Hynix deserves serious attention. Recent market weakness has created uncertainty, but I do not think short-term sell

45% Profit Growth! Sony Gives the Tech Industry a Shot in the Arm—Have the Real Winners Emerged?

Competition in the tech industry is intensifying, products are being updated faster, and it is becoming harder for companies to make money.
Against this backdrop, Sony's Q2 operating profit grew 45%, and the company raised its full-year guidance. These results are certainly impressive.
Some may ask: How has Sony managed to perform so strongly?
The answer isn't just that a particular product sold well, but that the company has built up broad-based strengths over the long term.

Micron at $765: Are you cutting your losses or adding to your position?

The Democrats swept Congress, data center approvals are facing bottlenecks, and Taiwan factories have paused operations—Micron plunged from 850 to 765 in a day, down 10%. But just as you panic and sell, someone is quietly placing buy orders at 740-760. Has the AI infrastructure thesis really collapsed, or is this the classic “fakeout” in a bull market?

First, the surface story: a political black swan triggered a sell-off, and semiconductors got crushed across the board.

On November 4-5, midterm election results came in,

Beyond Proof of Reserves, Gate has introduced PoSEC, a new Proof of Security framework focused on how user assets are stored and protected. By disclosing the distribution of assets across cold storage and hot wallets, users can directly understand Gate’s storage structure and risk coverage under extreme scenarios. Gate’s latest cold storage coverage ratio stands at 104.58%, meaning cold-storage assets alone are sufficient to cover all user assets. PoR verifies whether reserves are sufficient, while PoSEC shows how assets are stored and how risks are covered — together forming a more complete asset security framework.
