11.6 ETH Analysis

Analysis: Short near 2250-2270 on a rebound, with a stop at 2290. First target: 2220; second target: 2205.

The actual 1H chart shows that after rising to a period high of 2449.95, the price came under pressure and pulled back, closing with a long bearish candle on increased volume and breaking through key support levels in succession. It dipped to a low of 2205.11, and is currently quoted at 2238.32. The short-term uptrend structure has been broken, with concentrated selling pressure from bears. The market has officially entered a weak correction phase. After becoming overs

What Is a Market Maker? How Do They Improve Market Liquidity by Providing Buy and Sell Quotes, and What Risks Do They Face?

In the cryptocurrency market, whether a trade can be executed quickly depends not only on the willingness of buyers and sellers, but also on whether sufficient liquidity is available. Market makers are important participants in providing market liquidity, but they are not intermediaries who are guaranteed to profit.

First, what is a market maker?

Market makers typically continuously provide buy and sell quotes, making it easier for other traders to find counterparties.

11.6 $ETH Today's Outlook
After bottoming at 2204.98 overnight, the market entered an oversold recovery phase. The broader bearish trend remains unchanged, and the rebound still has room to fall when it meets resistance. Prioritize shorting rallies, with short-term longs at support as a secondary strategy.

#Gate推出行业首个资金安全证明
Exchange security has long been measured by a single headline number: reserve ratio. It is a useful number, but it answers only one question. It tells you whether assets exist in amounts that cover liabilities at the moment of measurement. It does not tell you how those assets are stored, who can move them, or how quickly they could be reached in a crisis.

Gate's latest move is to publish a second layer of disclosure. Its new PoSEC system, described as proof of fund security, aims to show how assets are stored and how much of them is protected offline. The announcement repo

Reserves Tell You How Much. PoSEC Asks Where It Sits.
For years, the standard question about an exchange was simple: does it hold enough assets to cover what users are owed? Proof of reserves answered that question, and it still matters. But a reserve ratio says nothing about how those assets are stored. Two exchanges can show identical reserve numbers while keeping very different shares in cold storage, hot wallets or third-party custody. That gap is what Gate is now trying to close.

What Gate announced

Gate has launched what it describes as the industry's first PoSEC, or proof of fund security, system. Where PoR confirms that assets exist and cover liabilities, PoSEC focuses on the storage structure behind those assets and on the coverage available to protect them. Gate's announcement reports cold storage coverage of 104.58% and says 88.26% of stored assets sit in cold storage. It also says an independent third-party audit mechanism has been introduced and that verification is underway.

Those are Gate's own figures. I could not confirm them from an independent source, and the audit is still in progress, so the results should be read as a company disclosure until the audit concludes.

Why cold storage share matters

Hot wallets are connected to the internet and are needed for daily withdrawals. Cold storage keeps keys offline and is far harder to drain through a remote attack. A higher cold-storage share generally means less of user money is exposed to a single compromise. The question for any exchange is not only whether it has the funds, but how many of those funds would be exposed if a hot wallet were breached.

What "coverage above 100%" can and cannot mean

Cold storage coverage above 100% suggests that cold-stored assets exceed the stated liability base that the system measures against. That can be reassuring, but it depends on how the liability base is defined, how often it is updated, and whether it includes every product. A figure is only as useful as its definition, so the methodology matters as much as the headline.

The audit gap is the real test

Any security claim is only as strong as its verification. Gate says an independent third-party audit mechanism is in place and that verification is underway. The key question is what the auditor will examine: wallet control, key management, custody procedures, and the reconciliation between reported and on-chain balances. Users should look for the scope, the auditor's name, the period covered, and whether findings are published in full.

What users should ask any exchange

Reserve ratios are the start of the conversation. Users should also ask for the share of assets in cold storage, the custody arrangements for each asset, how often balances are reconciled, whether an independent auditor has reviewed key management, what happens to user funds in a security incident, and how any insurance or compensation is funded and capped.

The bottom line

PoSEC is a step beyond proof of reserves, because it addresses where assets are kept and how they are protected. Gate's disclosed figures are encouraging, but they are company-reported, and the audit is still in progress. A good exchange should make its security data verifiable, specific and regularly updated, not just impressive at launch.

🏭 5-Year Industrial Plan: The P2P Read on US$17 Billion
Executive Vice President and Acting President Delcy Rodríguez set a target of restoring 100% of the country’s installed industrial capacity within five years. She made the announcement during a tour of a pharmaceutical plant in Miranda.
The figures behind the announcement: US$17 billion in financing from multilateral organizations, split between the public and private sectors, and a 31% decline in imports of finished products, alongside increased purchases of raw materials from abroad. The shift from green to red numbers on stock market screens is not the real news; the true story lies in the fundamental mental shift behind that red.

What unfolded in the U.S. markets on Thursday was not merely an ordinary sell-off, but a profound rupture in how the "artificial intelligence trade" is valued and how its risks are perceived. As the Nasdaq closed the day down 5.5%, the semiconductor index suffered its worst performance since 2020, plunging as much as 12% in a single session. Nvidia fell 9%, AMD and Micron dropped 17% each, and Qualcomm slid 12%—altogether, approximately $2.5 tr

The Nasdaq fell 5.5% in a single day. Using its previous high of roughly 18,000 as a ballpark, that works out to a nearly 1,000-point pullback in one session, sending it straight from the highs into correction territory. The S&P 500 followed with a 4.4% drop, or more than 260 points based on a level near 6,000. The main thing getting hit in this selloff is still the AI data center story—valuations were cut across the board for computing power, servers, power supply, cooling, optical modules, and related areas. On the market, the hardest-hit subsectors were those that had rallied the most. One

LIVE2,072
On Nov 5, BTC faced resistance on a rebound near 76,500. Consider opening a small short position, with targets at 75,500/75,000.
Those looking to go long should wait for the price to stabilize near 75,200 before entering. Set a stop at 74,800, with targets at 76,000/76,500.
On the 1-hour chart, the price plunged from a high of 81,188, with a wick down to 75,158, then consolidated and recovered at the lows.
The moving averages are diverging bearishly, and the rebound is weak. 76,500/77,000 are short-term resistance levels, so bears still have the upper hand for now. $BTC #BTC
