My base case for the rest of the day is sideways trading around $78–81k with another attempt to reclaim $80k. I’d give it about a 55% chance. If buyers retake $80k and then $81.1–81.3k, the probability of an acceleration toward $82–83k will rise sharply; large BTC options bets above $82k have already appeared in the market.
But overheating is real right now: the BTC momentum indicator is around 78, meaning it is already in overbought territory, while analysts note noticeable selling pressure roughly between $78.5k and $82k. Therefore, I consider the “straight to $85k without stopping” scenari
