Tonight, don’t just keep your eyes on BTC at 81K; whether ETH can hold 2,600 is the key to the rotation.
BTC 24H +4.2%, ETH +5.6%; ETH is around 2,641, not far from its 24H high of 2,653. SOL, meanwhile, fell back from 114.1 to 111.7.
This looks like internal rotation into high-beta assets, not a broad altcoin season. If ETH holds 2,600, the rotation continues; if it falls back, beware of weekend profit-taking after the chase.

Crypto|BTC holds 80K, then eyes 81.3K; SOL holds 110, then challenges 114.
Futures|Oil >100 and 10Y >5% remain the biggest headwinds to risk-on.
Zuo Zuo’s take|Only holding firm confirms trend continuation; if BTC falls back to 80K or SOL loses 110, treat it as a post-quadruple-witching-day short squeeze for now, not an immediate new bull market based on a single-day surge.

Conclusion|Crypto is taking over the risk-on baton, but high oil prices and 5% Treasury yields remain headwinds.
Macro/Current Affairs|The 10Y yield broke above 5%, while oil prices remain above $100.
U.S. Stocks|Nasdaq +0.40%, S&P +0.17%, Dow -0.18%, indicating no broad-based strengthening.
BTC 81.1K(+6.1%)、ETH 2,616(+7.0%)、SOL 113.3(+11.6%)。

Quadruple witching day has pushed the market straight into short-squeeze mode
BTC is up 5.4% over 24H; ETH is up 5.1%
SOL is even stronger! Up more than 10%
Now it’s no longer about whether to chase, but whether this move can turn resistance into support: BTC is challenging 81K, while SOL is also nearing its intraday high.
Holding 80K means the trend accelerates; failing to hold means quadruple witching day shakes out the last batch of buyers chasing the rally.
Do you think 81K will hold steadily tonight?

The BOJ raised rates to a 31-year high, yet the yen fell to a two-week low. The market isn’t afraid of rate hikes—it thinks the BOJ isn’t hawkish enough: two dissenting votes, weak near-term signals for further hikes, and another drop in Oil has loosened the reins on Risk-on sentiment. BTC has risen above 77.35K, but if it fails to hold on a retest tonight, it’s just a short squeeze. Do you think this is a new bull market or the final leg of a short squeeze?

Crypto|BTC around $76,398, +0.45%; ETH around $2,446, +1.40%. The SEC grants tokenized stocks a 5-year exemption, Coinbase rises 5.8%, but BTC remains stuck at 76.6K.
Futures|10Y around 4.93%, DXY around 100.1; Brent falls around 1%, and supply risks remain unresolved.
Lefty's Watch|Watch whether BTC can hold 76.6K and whether the yen surges after the BOJ. If it cannot break through, or if the carry trade unwinds, don't chase the rebound.

☀️ 9/18 Zuo Zuo Morning Brief
Macro/Current Affairs|After the Fed’s rate hike, U.S. Treasury yields and oil prices fell in tandem; the market raised the probability of another 25-basis-point hike in October to 53.1%. Today’s focus shifts to the BOJ, with the market expecting rates to rise to 1.25%; the yen and global carry trades could amplify volatility.
U.S. Stocks|Dow +0.62%, S&P 500 +1.14%, Nasdaq +1.69%; technology stocks led the gains, marking a rebound after interest-rate pressures temporarily eased.

U.S. stock futures and BTC rebounded together, making it look like risk-on; however, BTC and ETH spot ETFs saw combined outflows of approximately $1.113 billion over two days. Prices can rise, indicating that someone is absorbing the short-term selling pressure; but without corresponding fund inflows, this is not yet confirmation of a bull market that justifies widening stop-losses. If 76.6K cannot be surpassed, the rebound remains merely a technical bounce.

Crypto|BTC about $76,364, 24h +0.7%; ETH about $2,422, +0.8%. High interest rates + the CLARITY Act deadlock mean this is currently only an oversold recovery.
Commodities/Futures|Spot gold about $4,240, down 1.2% intraday; WTI about $102.43. The pullback in oil prices helps inflation, but supply risks remain unresolved.
Zuo Zuo Watch|Watch whether the 10Y can return below 5% and whether BTC can hold $75,200. If the former does not decline and the latter breaks, do not chase the rebound.

Macro/Current Affairs|The Fed raised rates by 25 basis points to 3.75%–4.00% and hinted that it may hike again this year; the 10-year Treasury yield briefly hit 5.003%, while the dollar strengthened. The real pressure is not this 25-basis-point hike, but the repricing of rate-cut expectations.
U.S. Stocks|Dow -1.21%, S&P 500 -0.45%, Nasdaq -0.01%; technology stocks held up, but market breadth was weak.

The pullback in oil prices does not mean the supply crisis is over. Saudi is now using Oman’s Sohar port to source replacement cargoes, but that is merely a detour to fill the gap; the East-West pipeline has still not officially resumed operations. Don’t chase oil in the short term, but neither should you mistake a single substitute shipment for a recovery in supply. True bearish confirmation would be the pipeline resuming operations plus WTI breaking below 103.

I see the CLARITY Act getting stalled this time, and what the market is really selling off is not a single bill, but “predictability.”
49:50—the procedural vote failed, and U.S. crypto regulation has once again reverted to the SEC and CFTC interpreting things separately. What capital has always feared most is not strict rules, but not knowing whether the rules will change six months from now.
So this isn’t simply an emotion-driven sell-off. The market is repricing the situation: how much longer until the framework is actually implemented?

Crypto Market|BTC around $75,782, 24h -2.8%; ETH around $2,401, -4.6%. ETH is weaker, and risk appetite has yet to return.
Futures|Brent around 107.82, WTI around 104.86; rising inventories pushed oil prices lower, but they remain elevated.
Zuo Zuo’s Take|Don’t rush to buy the dip ahead of the Fed. Only when yields and oil prices cool together will crypto and equities get a more meaningful breather.
