One of my favorite border crossing stories I randomly remembered, back from when I was cool.
Crossing the Canadian border to go to a festival.
Nothing bad in the car.
Border agent asks me if there's drugs etc. "No sir."
Mention the alcohol, he knows which festival I'm going to and they don't allow alcohol on premises, informs me of this.
"They don't need to know about that."
"Why should I believe you don't have any drugs in the car if you're telling me you're going to lie to them about it?"
"You're Customs and they are festival security, I know the line."
