The four most misleading words on an order screen: Order Submitted.
It looks like the task is done, but the market has not agreed to your order yet.
A limit order can control your execution price, but it cannot create a counterparty willing to trade with you. On Coinbase Advanced, it only fills at the specified price or a better price; if there is not enough quantity, it may be only partially filled.
So, do not rush to close the screen after placing an order. Open Orders and check “% Filled” and “Status”: how much was filled, and how much of the order remains?
