XRP is at $1.13 this week. Bitcoin is at $63,500.

And at this point, the question needs to be asked: Is the price real? Or is it the underlying story?
I've been asking this question for 4 years. And my answer is always the same: The story always comes first. The price comes later. But most people read the order in reverse.
Let's look at XRP's story this week:
DTCC — the $114 trillion American securities infrastructure — has added Ripple Prime to its tokenized securities working group. In the same room as Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan. The pilot starts in July.
XRP ETFs have seen net inflows for 4 consecutive weeks. While Bitcoin ETFs experienced $5 billion in outflows.
SBI Shinsei Bank — a major commercial bank in Japan — will reward its customers with XRP deposits. This isn't a crypto app. This is a savings account.
The CLARITY Act is in the Senate. XRP is now a "digital commodity" under federal law — this classification may soon become law. And XRP Ledger's tokenized real assets (RWA) have now reached $3 billion, leading the way among chains other than Ethereum.
None of this has been reflected in this week's price.
Why?
Because markets are emotion machines in the short term. In the long term, they are weighing machines.
When I understood this difference, my perspective on crypto completely changed.
Now I don't reflexively sell when I see red. I ask, "What is the reason for this drop?" Is it coin-specific? Macro? If it's macro — and the fundamentals haven't changed — I consider whether this is an opportunity or a trap.

A tip for beginners:
The price chart tells you "what happened."
The news feed tells you "why it happened."
On-chain data tells you "who did what."
Learn to read all three together.
