PeckShield: Cross-chain bridge attacks from February to May 2026 have caused a loss of $329.0 million

ME News Report, May 18 (UTC+8), PeckShield posted on X platform that from February 2026 to mid-May, the cryptocurrency industry has experienced at least 8 major security incidents related to cross-chain bridges, with attackers stealing a total of approximately $328.6 million worth of assets from cross-chain protocols. PeckShield pointed out that cross-chain infrastructure remains a high-frequency target for hacker attacks, and the associated risks continue to emerge amid the expansion of multi-chain ecosystems.
