Odaily Planet Daily News reports that according to Korea's ETNews, recently several primary equipment suppliers for SK Hynix have requested price increases, with supply prices rising by 3%-4%. SK Hynix has asked these suppliers to submit supporting documents to evaluate the price increase requests. Industry insiders point out that it is more common for raw material and component suppliers to negotiate price hikes due to significant cost fluctuations, but it is relatively rare for equipment manufacturers to also request price increases.
