French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe stated on the 3rd during a question-and-answer session with parliamentarians in the French National Assembly that Israel should cease military operations within Lebanon and end its illegal occupation of Lebanon. Philippe said that Israel's continued fighting in Lebanon "has no legitimate reason" and is detrimental to Israel's own security interests in the long run.
